Pennsylvania AFL-CIO - In order to benefit the estimated 900,000 members, the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO has dedicated itself to fighting for affordable healthcare, high quality public education, job safety, fair and sustainable wages, and other such programs. The Pennsylvania AFL-CIO also fights to ensure corporate responsibility to protect the safety and rights of workers, the environment, and Pennsylvania’s communities.


JNESO - The Professional Health Care Union - The JNESO District Council 1 Board of Directors unanimously voted to endorse Tarah Probst's candidacy for PA Senate.

American Federation of Teachers Pennsylvania - AFT Pennsylvania represents teachers and support staff in public, private and charter schools; professors, adjunct faculty and clerical and technical employees at community colleges, state-related and private universities; and professional employees working for the State of Pennsylvania. Our members support candidates based on careful consideration of positions and, where possible, voting records on key issues including support for investing in public schools and affordable college education, providing high-quality public services and protecting workers’ rights and their voices on and off the job.


Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes Division - International Brotherhood of Teamsters - The Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes Division of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (BMWED) has chosen to endorse Tarah Probst as the Candidate for Pennsylvania’s 40th Senate District representing Monroe and Northampton Counties.

Tarah stands in solidarity with unions and promises to defend legislation that would make it easy for workers to unionize. Tarah wants Pennsylvanians to have safe working conditions, good and economical healthcare, union representation; and fair wages.

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 827 -

The IBEW represents active members and retirees who work in a wide variety of fields, including utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads and government. The IBEW has members in both the United States and Canada and stands out among the American unions in the AFL-CIO because it is among the largest and has members in so many skilled occupations.

As union members, we bargain collectively with our employers over wages, benefits, and rights.

Most of us have very limited bargaining power as one person, but as a group, we are strong. And, with a good negotiated contract, we have legal protections we would not have otherwise.


Progressive Women of Northeast Pennsylvania - We are a grassroots organization of women in northeastern Pennsylvania. We have formed to preserve the dignity and human rights of all people, especially women, from potential policies and practices of newly elected and appointed officials who appear to have a very different worldview from ours.

The major focus for our group is to elect and appoint progressive women to office in all levels of government.  Our members also do advocacy for women’s legal, political, social and economic equity.  Current issues being addressed by our caucus groups include: reproductive freedom/health care, education equity, immigration, environment/climate change, fair districts in Pennsylvania, and prison reform.


The Sierra Club - The Sierra Club is committed to promoting clean energy solutions to move the nation beyond dirty fossil fuels like coal, oil and dangerous nuclear power, and towards a safe, clean energy future built on energy efficiency, clean energy, and American innovation. Since our founding in 1892, the Sierra Club has protected America’s wild places and wildlife. In addition, the Club works to protect public health and ensure safe and healthy communities that are free of toxic air and water pollution. The Sierra Club and its 3 million members and supporters work to support candidates who share these values.


Human Rights Campaign - PENNSYLVANIA - Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization, announced its endorsement of a record 19 pro-equality candidates in the Pennsylvania State Legislature.

“In the face of a federal administration hellbent on turning back the clock and a state legislature that has refused to take action to protect the thousands of LGBTQ Pennsylvanians, endorsing pro-equality candidates in races up and down the ballot has never been more important,” said HRC Pennsylvania State Director Allison VanKuiken. “HRC is on the ground working harder than ever to turn out the vote for state level candidates who will champion equality and defend the rights of every Pennsylvanian.”


United Auto Workers Region 9 - The International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America, with members in virtually every sector of the economy. Region 9 covers western and central New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania

As impressive as it is, the UAW’s success record at the bargaining table is only part of the story. From our earliest days, the UAW has been a leader in the struggle to secure economic and social justice for all people. The UAW has been actively involved in every civil rights legislative battle since the 1950s, including the campaigns to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the Fair Housing Act, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1988 and legislation to prohibit discrimination against women, the elderly and people with disabilities.


United Auto Workers Local 677 - Chartered in 1939, UAQ Local 677 represents workers and retirees from Mack Trucks, Office Engineering, Reman Shop, AmeriCold Logistics, First Student Buses Northampton.


Progressive Change Campaign Committee - Tarah Probst, who is running for Pennsylvania's 40th Senate District, was named a 2018 Champion by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, which recognizes candidates from around the country who are fighting for progressive priorities and looking out for the needs of everyday families. Over ninety candidates have been named 2018 Champions nationally.

Gertrude Stein Political Club of Greater Pittsburgh - The Gertrude Stein Political Club is a multi-partisan organization based in Pittsburgh, PA, working in electoral politics in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues and women's rights by helping candidates who are committed to helping us secure those rights. GSPCGP provides information about candidates' positions on issues important to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transexual voter; we endorse candidates based on their past record and on their responses to our candidate questionnaires.

On Sept 6, 2018, members of the Gertrude Stein Political Club of Greater Pittsburgh (GSPCGP) endorsed candidates for the Nov 6, 2018 General Election. A multi-partisan organization with a multi-decade history educating candidates and encouraging support for LGBT(QIAA) and women’s rights, GSPCGP solicits responses from candidates of all parties.

Carpenters Local Union 445 - During the April 19, 2018 monthly meeting of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 445 the membership in attendance unanimously endorsed Tarah Probst's Primary candidacy for the PA Senate District 40.


Monroe County Young Democrats - We are a group of forward-thinking, politically active young people based in Stroudsburg, PA.


Represent PA helps progressive women claim their seat at the table. Across Pennsylvania, we back campaigns of progressive women candidates early and often.

Planned Parenthood PA - In partnership with the three Planned Parenthood affiliates in Pennsylvania, Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania, the State Public Affairs Office in Harrisburg, works to achieve maximum public, governmental and media support for reproductive health care, including family planning, by developing, implementing and facilitating a statewide strategy.
