Tarah Probst was the 2018 Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania Senate District 40 representing Monroe and Northampton counties
I was honored to be your candidate and am extremely grateful to everyone who helped with our campaign and voted for me.
I ran for Pennsylvania State Senate because we need better representation in Harrisburg. I am the mayor of Stroudsburg and have made great progress in our town and in our region. I want to take my hard work, dedication and principles to Harrisburg to better serve the people of our region and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
I ran on a platform to fight for sensible tax reform, funding for our schools, sensible economic development that supports living wages, expanded access to affordable healthcare, protecting our environment and protecting the rights of all our citizens.
I fight for working families and for social, economic and environmental justice.
